HOW TO CURE MOM?????

I really want to share this story with all of you guys.........I do not know how is the feeling to be a mother yet........That is why I attracted to an article in Readers Digest Magazine (April 2009) titled "Just The Tonic for a Sick Mom".I really interested to pick up this article because I have mom..............very lovely mom.........I miss her very much....seriously........

This story was told by Stephanie Wilmen who have three children had all been ill at same time.All of them are boys aged one,three,five years old at the time.After taking care of them round the clock,she came down with the same symptoms.She needed to see the doctor alone and bring her sons together as her husband was away for work.

In the waiting room at the hospital,the baby was on her lap and the other two sons were playing with toys on the floor.She felt very sorry for herself as she lacked of sleep and support.

A man who just settled his account with receptionist,stood and watched her two boys played on the floor.Stephanie looked at the man.Suddenly,the MAN SAID,

"WELL DONE."

She took a long time to digest what he meant actually.He congrated her ,but for what??????

He said again,"I have 3 boys and I know HOW hard it is.Look at how well behaved they are..You have done a brilliant job."After that,he walked out and left her who still blurred.When she got it,she was the proudest mother and did not seem to notice how sick she was.She forgot that she was sick!!!!!!

Those words are the best things our moms could heard.The lesson here is,me myself realised that our behaviours will reflect back on how our parents educate us since we small???The public will blame our parents first if we do something wrong although it was not their fault.........

So,let us change ourselves from negative to positive or from good to better,from better to the best.....for the sake of our parents especially our moms that were very sensitive and concern about us...think about it...

KINDNESS OF STRANGERS!!!!!!!

Actually,I have read Readers Digest magazine April 2009.The article titled "KINDNESS OF STRANGERS" really made me feel unbelievable that there HAS STILL someone who is very kind.I thought if that thing happens to me,I will not be such a kind people like that!!!!!!!There is a story I want to share with you guys...

The subtitle of the article is "THE LAST OF NINE LIVES".THE STOry is told by Neridah Kentwell who have lost her cat named Misty.Misty has disappeared from her new home after being locked up in the house for two weeks.Neridah and her children tried their best to find out Misty anywhere such as along the railway track.

Fortunately,after several weeks,Misty returned to Neridah's house.It looked so bedraggled and starving.It recovered slowly but lastly,it became healthy and looked plump like before.

However,it was still unsettled yet.There was no pleasure in Misty.It was not content and active like before.One morning,Neridah and her children felt very shocked and sad when Misty lost again!!!!!It escaped from their house like the previous time.They tried to search for Misty anywhere.......suddenly...............

Suddenly,her son found Misty's body,wrapped in an expensive sports jacket and left on the side of the road.Misty was died!!!It was hit by a car!!!!There was a note pinned to the jacket.The driver wrote and expressed how very sorry he was that he did not see Misty.He told that he did not have a chance to stop when Misty crossing the road suddenly.

NERIDAH CRIED NOT BECAUSE OF MISTY'S DEATH ONLY,BUT SHE ALSO CRIED BECAUSE OF THE KINDNESS OF THE DRIVER.HE WAS AN UNKNOWN STRANGER WHO STILL HAD COMPASSIONATE TO THE ANIMAL WHICH he hit by his car.Until now,she always remembered the stranger who willed to stop,wrap Misty's up with his expensive jacket,and write the heartfelt note apologize.It was enough for Neridah......

As the conclusion,the lesson we can take into account here is that a simple act can change someone's life or perception.It was unbelievable that in the world,there is still a minority group who will to apologize when they make faults............When we do something faults to human beings,animals or plants,are we going to apologize and aDmit our faults.????................EASILY LIKE HE DRIVER DID????

COME ON............THINK ABOUT IT.................

Water is a wonderful thing in this world...........

I have realised that water.........

is really an amazing creation of Allah.

Before this,I use water to drink,to bath,to wash,to cook,

anything else......

but actually I think that most of us never realise

water plays an important role in our life...........

When I study biochemistry in INTEC,

I explore one thing that I never appreciate it in my life...

that is water....

Firstly,we look at our body first. two over three or more than half of our body is made from WATER......

hOw about the saliva,the tears,the mucus,the sweat.......all of them are WATER...........

Then,we can think about some thing.........why we sweat water vapour????????I t is a weird question...but let us think of it...why not we sweat other things like sugar,heat,fat.........why must be water????

why?? because water is a good coolant.why we have to sweat???to eliminate heat from our body,right???

water is a good coolant as water have high specific capacity of heat.That's means water really need to absorb a lot of HEAT to rise its temperature and release a lot of HEAT to reduce its temperature,That is why we feel cool and fresh when we finished sweating as the water from the sweat releases a lot of heat actually.

Then,I want to ask a question......why we called water as a universal solvent????

The answer is based on the chemical properties of water itself!!!!
We commonly called water as H2O.

The meaning of chemical formula of water,H2O is one atom of oxygen boundS to two atoms of hydrogen.

The hydrogen atoms are "attached" BY COvalent Bond to one side of the oxygen atom, resulting in a water molecule having two opposite charges that are negative and positive charge.

Hyrogen atom REPRESEnt positive charge (+) while oxygen atom represent negative side (-) .

Since opposite charges attract to each other, water molecules tend to attract each other, making water sticky.

The side with the hydrogen atoms (positive charge) attracts the oxygen side (negative charge) of a different water molecule.

All these water molecules attracting each other mean they tend to clump together BY HAVING OPPOSITE CHARGES. This is why water drops are, in fact, drops!

hENCe,water is called the "universal solvent" because it dissolves more substances than any other liquid.

This means that wherever water goes, through the ground or our bodies, it takes along valuable chemicals, minerals, and nutrients.

haha...how about this???what is this...how WATER FROM ROOT oF A PLANT CAN CLIMB UP TO THE LEAVES????There is a stair inside the stem of the plant......

of course not....it is wrong.............

Even if we have never heard of capillary action, it is still important in our life.

Capillary action is important for moving water especially inside the stem. It is defined as the movement of water within the spaces of a porous material due to the forces of adhesion, cohesion, and surface tension.
According to my green biochemistry textbook,surface tension is a measure of the strength of the film of water surface.

The force attraction between the water molecules creates a strong film . This surface tension permits water to hold up substances heavier and denser than itself.

Actually,capillary action occurs because water is sticky, but first of all,thanks to adhesion and cohesion forces.Cohesion means the attraction between water molecules.

Adhesion means attraction between water molecules and ather substances such as the capillary wall of the stem.

So,water tends to stick together as in a drop.We can see other examples of how water sticks to the glass,clothes and soil.

Besides,a steel needle carefully placed on the surface of water in the glass will float.

Some aquatic insects such as the water strider is able to walk on the surface of the water by relying on the concept of surface tension of water.

ThAT'S ALL ABOUT WATER..i HOPE AFTER READING THIS,WE WILL BE MORE aPPRECIABLE TO WATER...BYE,,

MULTILINGUAL PUBLIC SPEAKING

hI..........i want to do something new in my life this week...maybe for the first time ......will it be the last time????just wait and see..

multilingual public speaking will be held on Monday until Wednesday in 52 hours....It will be conducted by the students of EDUCATION FACULTY, INTEC. It is about a non -stop public speaking in 52 HOURS..can we imagine that????If the public speaking is successfully done,the recording will be sent to Malaysia Book of Records...of course I want to grab this chance.Actually,I do not like public speaking because I do not like to speak in front of the public..That is why I said that this week I will explore a new experience in my life..Luckily,all my classmates will take part in this programme.MEG 5 IS GREAT ACTUALLY...

During the recording sessions of public speaking,we need to talk spontaneously without reading the text ,in 8 minutes not less.not more.We need to speak within the range 7 to 8 minutes.I need to speak in Arabic Language and I have chosen Science and Technology as my theme.What I have to do now is try to remember the text AND speak fluently in Arabic language for 8 minutes without stop and pause too long.It is quite difficult for me as I only have one day to practise public speaking in Arabic language.However,I will take it as a challenge and experience in my life..Go Mastura..Of course you can do it...

There are also public speakings in another language as the name of this programme is multilingual such as Russia,japanese,malay ,english and korea language.....We will combine to speak 8 minutes per person in 52 hours from Monday to Wednesday...InsyaAllah our names will be displayed nad recorded in Malaysia Book of Records...

Luckily,my turn is at 12.36 pm on TUESDAY....hOWEVER,I have to miss some classes on that day...Unfortunately,there are some my classmates who their turn of public speaking will be at 3.00 am on Tuesday..They are Izzah,Tasya,Sabihah and some more but I do not remember them.

However,I will try to do the best for this time in our life...For my friends,good luck to all of you..let us make this participitation as a sweet memory in new life.....Please pray for my success....bye..

QUIZZES............QUIZZES AND QUIZZES.........

sOMETIMES,this word really really scarrying and terrifying me........!!!!!I hate quizzes sincerely......However,I have to answer all quizzes seriously to make sure I can fly to Egypt....

Ha ha ha..last two weeks,I had a Biochemistry quiz.The time given by Miss Alia to complete the quiz paper was 40 minutes only(addition 10 minute was given actually).The questions were quite difficult but fortunately I digested all lecture's notes given by Miss Alia on that night.

lUCKILY,although the questions were toUgh,I can handle it ALTHOUGH not very well.However,Alhamdulillah,I got satisfynig marks but still not very good actually.The questions of the quiz were only about the first chapter ,that is "WATER".From now,I need to study harder to get higher marks in the next quiz.InsyaAllah...

Last week,I had a Physiology quiz...This is a sad story because I really do not have confidence to get satisfying marks for Physiology quiz...The questions were very tough and not just me but all my classmates say like that....but I cannot blame anyone,maybe I am still lack of reading about this subject....You musT be hardworking Mastura...wake up from now...you had to do it...you must to..COMPULSORY....i am SORRY very much Puan Wati....I will perform better next time,,I promise...

Whatever,LET BY GONE BE BY GONE.........next time,Iwill perform better for the sake of myself and my parents who really want me to success in the future...This week,I will have another Biochemistry quiz and I will do better for the quiz..Insya Allah...It is not a promise but an encouragement for myself...I believe that the failure is not forever our mine but we can change it.

Luckily,for other subjects,THERE ARE NO QUIZ.........HEHE....it does not mean that I can take them lightly and not serious....I need to revise all the subjects and know perfectly how to manage time.

SAY NO TO EUTHANASIA!!!!!

HELLO GUYS.........can you guess what is the topic I want to discuss with you this week????the topic is not about having couple again but this is a medical topic...Since I have learnt medical subjects such as Physiology,Anatomy,BIochemistry,I was familiarised with various medical terms such as the types of diseases. Here I want to say that those subject are very interesting but we need to work very hard in order to be master in these subjects....

What is euthanasia?????Firstly,when I heard this word,I thought it was a kind of diseases that related to emotional problems....Actually,Iwant to share with you that euthanasia is an intentional killing by act or omission of a dependent human being for his or her alleged benefit. (If death is not intended, it is not an act of euthanasia) .Do you know MERCY KILLING...In my opinion,as a Muslim future doctor (InsyaAllah),I am not agree with euthanasia !!!!!!!ThAT,S why the title for my blog is "Say no to Euthanasia"....

According to my reseach I have done by surfing internet,there are some arguments that agree with euthanasia.They are:

1.It provides a way to relieve extreme pain
2.It provides a way of relief when a person's quality of life is low
3.Frees up medical funds to help other people
4.It is another case of freedom of choice

Besides,there are also some arguments against euthanasia.....They are:

1.Euthanasia devalues human life
2.Euthanasia can become a means of health care cost containment
3.Physicians and other medical care people should not be involved in directly causing death
4.There is a "slippery slope" effect that has occurred where euthanasia has been first been legalized for only the terminally ill and later laws are changed to allow it for other people or to be done non-voluntarily.

OK........I think majority people in this world will say no to euthanasia...It is a cruel action and against the humanity.As a Muslim,we should pray to Allah to cure any disease that we suffered. Euthanasia is a kind of SHORTCUT that is not good and for Muslim it is a big sin.Every disease has its cure but as a weak human being,we need to WORK HARD TO FIND ITS TREATMENT...

BESIDES, most of non-muslim physicians also say no to EUTHANASIA...

Therefore,as aMuslim future doctor,I promised to myself,I will hate euthanasia forever and ever...

it is The right time to have couple????

hai...........for this week,actually i don't have any idea what i want to share with you guys...suddenly i found this new topic...but firstly thank you to Aaron as he has inspired me to write something about this title..As a teenager,I know deeply about the feelings especially for the girls because I am a girl.When we have reached our puberty period,we will become more emotional and have more feelings such as we want to be loved and appreciated....WHO AGREED WITH ME!!!!!PLEASE BEING HONEST,GUYS...............

in my opinion,when we become a teenager, it is not the right time to have couple but it is the right time to choose.........the personality of someone who can live forever with us in the future...I mean we should make observations about our suitable partner in the future...of course..no one of us know who is our partner in the future,but we can decide it right now.

ok......I,m not try to confuse you guys but try to be open -minded and far-sighted.I will give an example here...There is a teenager....her name is susan(not actual name and not exist!!!) She is a quiet girl and do not like to talk with others..She likes to be alone and she cannot communicate very well with her friends..However,she is a clever girl and she know herself very very well.I mean her personality of a very shy girl.............

THEN,Susan should know how to find her suitable partner..She must choose a boy that is talkative,naughty and know how to adapt himself with her.The boy must be a COMPLIMENT to Susan....I think all of you guys can imagine how boring Susan's life could be if her partner has same characters like her...ooooooooooo.....very boring........life is meaningless....

MY NEW LIFE AT INTEC........

Assalamualaikum.....and thanks for those who want to read my new story about my new life at INTEC.INTEC means International Education Centre.It is located at section of 17,Shah Alam. INTEC is one of the prestigious preparatory centre in Malaysia for those students who were chosen to continue their studies abroad. Most of the students at INTEC were presented scholarships by their own sponsorship. I would like to give some examples here such as Public Service of Department(JPA), MARA, Yayasan Pahang,Yayasan Terengganu, Ministry of Defence, Petronas and many more.Besides, there are many programmes prepared by intec such as Middle East Programme,Russian Programme,Korean Programme,A-LEVEL medicine programme,Australian Matriculation and many more.Here, I am very happy and feel grateful to make a lot of friends from all places in Malaysia including Sabah and Sarawak.Alhamdulillah and thanks God for giving me this gold oppurtinity to study at INTEC.

Now,I have been here for two weeks already and I feel very great.Sometimes, I feel a little bit confused about my previous secondary school and INTEC. What I want to say here is the life in secondary schoool and INTEC is really really different from what I've been expected before this. In my opinion, I am given 90% of freedom in INTEC.It is obviously HIGHER compared to the life in my previous school which was a boarding school and the students ther were strictly controlled by the rules and some disciplines guidelines.However, my principle is wherever we study, the most important things are self-disciplines including time management, behaviours,the way we dressed, followed by our seriousness in achademics. Thank you to my previous school as I can behave myself very well here as I have been trained within five years there to be a good-disciplined student with good manners.

In addition, as a university student,IN NEW ENVIRONMENT,we should know how to manage and control ourselves, as there are no parents anymore around us.We need to survive by ourselves WISELY. Therefore,we should choose the right friends or do not let the bad things from our friends influence us.I want to share here that there are many many facilities around our college ,such as KFC,MCDONALDS,OLE OLE, MYDIN MART AND ALSO GIANTTT!!!!!So, for a girl like me,it is a normal habit to go shopping...(just window shopping) as we can see many people, relieve stress and relax my mind.For me,as long as we know and realise what is the main objective we came to INTEC, the facilities are not a problem and obstacle to achieve our goal.

At INTEC,I was already learning medicine subjects such as biochemistry,biology,physiology and islamic medicine.Besides,I also learn some subjects like Arabic language,English language, computer literacy, and many more fun subjects and I enjoy study here .Totally in this week, we were told that most lecturers were busy attending courses, so we just knew a few names of lecturer ssuch as Miss Siti Hasnaa,Puan Umiatun, Miss liza, Puan Wati and ustazah Arfah .However,sincerely,all of them are VERY kind,great and friendly ,same with my previous teachers before.My classroom is air-conditioned and I am very comfortable here.Besides the library here is great too .

About the food,it is not a problem.Thank you for the owner of the cafeteria at our college as we are sold variety choices of delicious food and the most important thing here is the food price was affordable and reasonable..

About assigments,or I can call them as homeworks, are specially given by our lecturers to train us in our future university,Therefore,I will make my assignments sincerely and of course to grab the highest marks from the lecturers.InsyaALLAH..

I don,t know what else I want to share about INTEC in this blog. But, I will appreciate my sweet memories at INTEC...That,s all...thank you...maybe my story in not very interesting but, I just can tell you that we should grateful for what we have now...bye...
